God Talks

I love talking with Joshua about God and seeing his understanding progress. He's learned the verse "In my Father's house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2
We were talking about what the mansions might look like and Josh very excitedly shared that he hopes that there are Christmas lights on the outside :) Sweet boy. To balance out the sweetness, of course we have to have the moments when his "boy-ness" sticks out like a sore thumb- snakes and snails and puppy dog tails- and foreign objects in the nose. Peas at dinner time are always a great fit for little nostrils. Josh got one stuck so I blocked one side for him and asked him to blow- the pea flew 3 or 4 feet with a fantastic cartoon-ish popping sound! He proudly announced "I launched it!" This is the second time we've had issues with food in the wrong orifice- last time it was a popcorn seed. I do love him so- as frustrating as he is. His personality is huge and I can't wait to see what God does with the boy!

Jonathan was my boy for getting things stuck up his nose. Josh reminds me of him in a LOT of ways! I'll pray for you.... Just kidding. He's such a joy to me now that he's all grown up and not sticking things up his nose. ;)
