Retro post

My mom came to visit for a week in February. The kids always love to see Nana! We made sure to get in a trip to the zoo, and of course, Mrs. Lee's Garden. The garden is one of our local treasures that I look forward to seeing every year. There is a family owned tract of land- over 1000 acres that is open to the public when the daffodils are in bloom. Its beautiful!




My dad has started experimenting in woodworking and these are a couple of his projects. Each of the kids got a special treasure box that my mom painted and filled with goodies. The kids each have special things that they keep in their box. The things that they deem "treasures" makes me smile. A special matchbox car, a super ball, a sonic kids meal toy...
