ALL BOY

After reading "Bringing Up Boys" by Dobson, I've discovered that every bit of Joshua's death defying obsession, short attention span, big machine love, originates in his DNA. And while I don't completely understand it, this knowledge helps me refrain from trying to "cure" him:)
Some snapshots of a week in the life of a boy:I'm afraid i have a bungee jumper in the making- His kangaroo legs launch in from the porch literally dozens of times every afternoon. Its a favorite pastime.
Daddy's new toy has added great joy to my boy's life. Tim is now the coolest dad on the block. He bought it for fuel economy, but between you and me, I think he's working off of his manly DNA too :) Looking forward to some fun on this new addition!
In shop news....we're another step closer to having the new shop up! We're still several weeks away from building, but this weekend, the guys got out to do some dirt work- cutting trees, clearing brush, and the all important- bulldozing! Another big machine for Josh to drool over-he got a chance to take it for a spin, as you can see.
Hopefully they'll be able to pour the cement slab soon- lots of negotiating to do with the city first...blueprints, plans and permits. This is what has kept us in Texas so its quite exciting to see things coming together. If all goes well, we'll be moving into the new shop around Christmas!
