On this very foggy morning, the cement mixers showed up at the new shop site around 5:00am. Last week the plumbing and rebar was set, but for the first three days of this week, we had rain and not much progress was made. Finally today we had several cement mixers and a pump truck. I, of course, had to get the kids up there to watch- the cement mixers poured the cement into the pump truck and then the pump truck- you guessed it- pumped. There was a 120 ft hose suspended from a crane over the frame. You can see that in the pic below. It was a neat process to watch. After a few days of "curing" we should be set to start building- hopefully on Monday!
