Today when we left the park Josh had tears in his eyes. I thought it was from the 30mph winds blowing through. I asked him what was wrong and he told me "I don't have a joyful heart...my bones are gone." I can't believe my two year old boy applied scripture! He's learned several verses but I thought that he was just memorizing words. Even though I've tried to teach him the meaning of the verses, he's never used them in context. What joy that brought to my heart!
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth!" IIIJohn 1:4
He also started calling me Mom instead of Mama :( I thought that didn't come 'til at least 10 years old! Yikes- my boy...
By the way, after we stopped at Sonic for a snack on the way home from the park, he announced "my bones are back!"
